Terms & Conditions - Little Art Buddies

1. General Information

Little Art Buddies provides sensory art‑play sessions for children aged 0–5 years. By booking or attending a session, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

2. Parent/Guardian Responsibility

  • A parent or guardian must remain on-site and supervise their child at all times.

  • You are responsible for your child’s behaviour, safety, and wellbeing during the session.

  • Please ensure your child is dressed in clothing suitable for messy play.

3. Safety & Participation

  • Activities involve paint, water, sensory materials, and small craft items. While we take care to provide a safe environment, participation is at your own risk.

  • Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities prior to attending.

  • Children who are unwell should not attend sessions.

4. Bookings & Payments

  • All bookings must be made in advance.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

  • Session fees are non‑refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

  • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another session (subject to availability) or gift your spot to a friend. You can also ‘Pay it Forward’ to the community.

5. Cancellations by Little Art Buddies

  • In the rare event that a session must be cancelled (e.g., illness, venue issues), you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.

6. Photography & Media

  • We may take photos (no faces) during sessions for promotional use (website, social media, marketing).

  • If you prefer your child not to be photographed, please notify us before the session begins.

7. Mess & Materials

  • Sensory play can be messy. We provide protective coverings where possible, but we are not responsible for damage to clothing or personal items.

  • All materials used are non‑toxic and child‑safe to the best of our knowledge.

8. Venue Rules

  • Sessions are held in Dianella on Thursday mornings from 9:30–11am.

  • Please respect the venue, equipment, and other participants.

  • Any intentional damage may result in charges to cover repair or replacement.

9. Liability

  • By attending, you acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks associated with sensory and art play.

  • Little Art Buddies is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal belongings during sessions, except where required by law.

10. Changes to Terms

Little Art Buddies may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.

Terms & Conditions - Stroke of Sanity

  1. Event Details
    Exact address will be emailed to you after booking. This is an adults-only event.

  2. Bookings & Payments
    • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
    • Spaces are strictly limited. Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received.
    • Tickets are non-transferable unless approved by the event organiser.

  3. Cancellations & Refunds
    • Due to the limited seats and preparation involved, all tickets are non-refundable.
    • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person, however we cannot guarantee we will have time to modify your image, please notify us via email with their name and contact details.
    • In the unlikely event the workshop needs to be cancelled by the organiser (illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future event.

  4. Photo Submissions
    • All attendees must email their chosen photo to drawnfromyou@outlook.com after booking.
    • By sending your photo, you confirm that you own the rights to that image or have permission to use it.
    • If a photo is not received by the required date, the organiser may not be able to prepare your outline in time.

  5. What to Bring
    • This event is BYO wine only (maximum 1 bottle per person).
    • All painting materials and light nibbles (cheeseboard + sweet snacks) will be provided.

  6. Dietary Requirements
    • We are able to cater for most dietary needs if advised at the time of booking.
    • Please include dietary information when placing your order or email us immediately after.

  7. Workshop Experience
    • The event begins with a short mindfulness session followed by step-by-step watercolour guidance.
    • No prior art experience is required.
    • Please arrive on time to get the most out of the workshop.

  8. Behaviour & Safety
    • Please drink responsibly and be respectful of others at all times.
    • Anyone acting in a disruptive or unsafe manner may be asked to leave without refund.

  9. Liability
    • The organiser is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or loss of personal items during the event.
    • By attending, you acknowledge that participation involves minimal risk and agree not to hold the organiser liable.
