Little Art Buddies brings creative, sensory and process-based play directly to your centre. Our incursions give children the freedom to explore art materials, colour, texture and messy play through engaging, age-appropriate experiences — with a focus on curiosity, creativity and the process rather than the finished product.

What We Offer

  • A gentle introduction to colour, texture and sensory exploration. Baby sessions use age-appropriate, taste-safe materials and simple creative experiences that encourage little hands to touch, squish, smear and discover through their senses.

  • Designed for busy hands and curious minds. Toddler sessions combine messy art, sensory play and open-ended exploration, giving children the freedom to experiment, make choices and create without the pressure of making something “right.”

  • Creative, hands-on art experiences that introduce children to different materials, techniques and artistic ideas. Children are encouraged to experiment, problem-solve and express their own ideas, building confidence and creativity without every artwork needing to look the same.

Our Process

Science and Technology

Through experimentation of colours and textures, Little Art Buddies challenges little brains to critically think about what they are creating, without a structured result.

Engineering

Using spare parts play to create and imagine, littles are prepared for real world exploration in a laterally thinking manner.

Art

Creation, problem solving, and an emotional outlet they can use to regulate for their future. Art is the core of STEAM play and essential to the development of tiny hands.

Maths

Counting, determining how many parts are needing for a project, mapping out a creative solution, this is all apart of STEAM play at Little Art Buddies.
